Eega- THE revenge continues

We are an animal loving family, as long as they don't intrude our private space. We house many species of the animal kingdom some small, some not so small and we all co exist in harmony under the same roof. We are in an mutual understanding of how we are not to invade the others space and we ensure that we don't cross each other's path as long as there is no emergency.

And there are some guests of this kingdom who come home and settle themselves without following the code of law. These are the heroes of this story.

One fine sweet day, a family of flies followed the sweet smell into my home. As we are a very compassionate and a harmonious family we didn't much bother about these uninvited visitors. Trouble started when at night when all the entrances were closed, the family created havoc by circling us and trying to grab our attention. Even after the doors and windows were opened, these visitors were so overwhelmed with the 'attention grab dance', that it clouded their very purpose of it. They were so excited about the sudden attention, that they were refusing to go back to their habitat.

We the nature loving citizens, dutibound, tried to restore the sudden disruptive behavior of the counterpart by forcefully shooing them out. We came with towels and bedsheets as our weapons to fight(help) these strayed, intoxicated opponents to their path towards freedom. Finally after a very long encounter we knocked some sense in to these 'reluctant freedom seekers' and were successfull in our mission of restoring the balance of the nature. However this encounter resulted in one of them getting killed. He lay dead on the towel and all our efforts to bring him back to life was in vain. His kith and kin vanished into thin air without even turning back to see their beloved dead. The towel was outside till morning under the hope that the dead fly would fly or the others would fetch a family doctor to resurrect life in him. But he lay there in the towel, 'the martyr of the war', unsure of whether he was killed in the encounter or died of a heart attack (for witnessing his heartless friends desert him).

How could a simple, noiseless, peaceful insect could create such a loud mental turbulence in our otherwise peaceful life. We suffered from insomnia many days (nights) for having killed a noble member of the most quietest species. Have you heard a fly buzzz?

We don't live in that part of the world where therapy is provided for such post traumatic stress. We had to live and face the guilt. Occasionally we tried to shift the epicenter of guilt towards the unfaithful decietful friends who left their friend to die that cold winter night. As they say, Time is the best medicine.

We are pretty much sure that the soul has found its form and is only waiting for the right time for the counterattack.
