A childlike inquistiveness(which is a rare sight these days) with 0 level ego. A undying Thirst for knowledge. Irrespective of who the knowledge giver(small or big) is. These days its grand daughter Anjali sharing info on latest Gizmos. Guess that trait is what keeps him working even after retirement.
A wonderful Singer( His shy nature has stopped him from being a Seerrkazhi or a TMS)
When we were growing up hè would get a lot of story books from MG road(mostly Russian and English authors) but not once compelled us to read. We used to keep gazing at all the wonderful pictures for hours( those served as a window to an external foreign world). These sparks of inquisitiveness drove us to read the books. A real teacher is one who sparks up and also facilitates our journey towards knowledge seeking.
A great sportsman, all the cups on the showcase are the proof of his achievement.
